Amy Kirschbaum, Government Affairs and Legislative Specialist, Joins Strategics Consulting

Strategics Consulting is excited to welcome Amy Kirschbaum to our team as a Government Affairs and Legislative Specialist. Amy's esteemed career began on Capitol Hill, where she served as a legislative aide in the office of the late Congressman E. Clay Shaw, Jr. of Florida. Her role as the primary legislative aide for the U.S. Congressional Sunbelt Caucus—a bipartisan coalition of 150 Southern representatives—saw her deeply involved with critical issues such as the environment, energy, and transportation. This foundational experience on Capitol Hill equipped her with a robust understanding of legislative processes and bipartisan collaboration, making her a formidable addition to the Strategics team.

Amy's professional journey took a geographic and sectoral shift in 1992 when she moved to Oregon. There, she continued her impactful work in public affairs with the Oregon Department of Transportation and later with a regional government focusing on parks and open spaces. Prior to joining Strategics Consulting, Amy dedicated her efforts to leading a nonprofit organization that supports women with ovarian cancer, demonstrating her versatile expertise and commitment to public service. Reuniting professionally with her longtime friend and colleague Leslie, with whom she started working back in 1988, Amy brings not only a wealth of experience but also a proven track record of leadership and advocacy. Raised in Broward County, FL, and educated at Duke University with a BA in Public Policy, Amy’s understanding of governmental affairs and legislative strategy will undoubtedly benefit our operations and the clients we serve.
