Strategics Consulting Delivers Presentation on Federal Legislation Impacting Local Governments

Strategics Consulting made a contribution to the North Carolina City and County Management Association Winter Seminar Winter Seminar by participating in a panel discussion on "Federal Legislation Impacting Local Governments." Leveraging its expertise in government affairs and policy analysis, Strategics provided insights into the latest federal legislation and its implications for local governments. During the session, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the potential impacts of federal policies on their communities and received practical guidance on navigating legislative changes effectively.

Through engaging dialogue and strategic counsel, Strategics underscored the importance of proactive engagement with federal lawmakers, advocacy efforts, and leveraging available resources to mitigate potential challenges and seize opportunities for local development. Armed with actionable strategies and informed perspectives, seminar participants left the session better equipped to navigate the evolving federal landscape and advocate for policies that support the needs and priorities of their constituents.

Amy Kirschbaum

Amy Kirschbaum began her career on Capitol Hill in the office of Congressman E. Clay Shaw, Jr. (FL). Upon leaving her post as legislative assistant in Congressman Shaw's office, Amy worked for the U.S. Congressional Sunbelt Caucus as a legislative assistant and later as the Legislative Director. In 1992, Amy moved to Oregon where she continued her career in public affairs at the Oregon Department of Transportation. Before joining Strategics Consulting, Amy was the Executive Director of the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon and SW Washington. Amy grew up in Broward County, FL, and earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University.
