Bill Hanka, Senior Advisor
Bill has 25 years’ experience as a federal lobbyist and grant writer, specializing in transportation infrastructure and economic development projects for cities, counties, port authorities, park departments, and transit operators. Since 2016, he has worked with his clients to obtain over $176 million in federal grant awards.
Prior to his role as a lobbyist, Bill spent 10 years working for the federal government, including positions with the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, and the White House.
He is especially proud of his work on Cincinnati’s Smale Riverfront Park Project, a $240 million Army Corps of Engineers project from 2004-2015 that transformed the City of Cincinnati’s waterfront on the Ohio River from a derelict parking lot to a vibrant mixed-used development featuring parks, restaurants, hotels, apartments, museums, offices, and retail establishments.
